Rabbit’s Mind

Once upon a time, there were a rabbit and a squirrel who were friend. They made a date with each other to search for food for every morning. Rabbit was a wise animal. He always saved one jar of dew for drinking at daytime. But, his friend didn’t do like him. One day, the rabbit couldn’t find his jar and asked the squirrel, “Friend! Have you seen my jar? I put it here.” The squirrel was frightened and trembled. He hid the jar behind him and said, “I haven’t seen it. You maybe forget where you put it. Today, I want to go home first.” So, he went as fast as he could. Without attention, he fell over and dropped the jar. With this view, the rabbit said, “Why do you lie me? I don’t want any friend as you?” Then, the squirrel was aware of mistake. He said sorry to the rabbit and promised not to do like this anymore. With these words, the rabbit forgave him, and both of them lived happily ever after.

Moral values

- Don not steal the other’s property because we don’t want the other to steal ours.
- Lying makes us frightened and nervous.
- No one is perfect but everything will be right if we correct out mistakes.

Wolf’s Trick

Before, there was a lion that was selected to be the king of the forest. One day, he had a terrible disease. Wolf, fox, and the other animals tried to find the medicine for the lion. However, the king was still not better. “The lion is not better yet, but he is a bad tempered animal and easy to get angry.” The fox thought. So, he went away for a while, and looked agree the lion secretly. Talking about wolf, while the fox was away, he came to meet the lion and speak ill of fox such as, “The fox wants the other lion to be king.” The lion was furious, and the called the other to bring him the fox. When the fox arrived, the lion shouted, “Why do you betray me?” the fox had known this was the wolf’s trick, and answered, “While I was not here, I went to find the medicine from the famous doctor for you. Now, I find it.” The king was so happy with these words. The fox continued, “The doctor told me to take the wolf’s skin off to cover on you. Doing like this can cure you.” Suddenly, the lion killed the wolf and take skin off to cover his body.

Moral values

- Bed action never gives the good result to the doer.
- Inciting makes our live miserable.
- Please think carefully before we trust someone.

Lonely Bat

There once was a big quarrel between the birds and the wild animals. The both party tried their best to gather member respectively. One day, the birds had flown to the bat’s nest to persuade him to join their group, but the bat rejected. Hearing like this, the animal suggested the bat to join their group. The bat was hesitated and said. “No, I decide to join the bird group.” Seeing the dishonest action of bat, two groups decided not to accept the bat to be their members. Later, the bird and the wild animals had announced to stop quarrel. When the bat heard this news, he immediately flew to meet the bird in order to share the happiness with them. But, the was not welcomed. Then, he flew to meet the wild animal which made him nearly lost his life. The bat flew back to his nest immediately with embarrassment. Since then, bats hide itself in the dark place, and always fly lonely during the night time.

Moral values

- Being humankind must have own principle.
- Live and die with respect and dignity.
- Have to join and share for the whole benefit, do no hide for you own benefit.
- Dishonest people will have on friend like lonely bats.

Bedbug and Louse

In the messy room of a girl, there were a lot of bedbugs who live in fold of mattress, mat, pillow and mosquito net. On her head with curly hair was full of louses. One day, she sat and combed her hair to place louses on the mattress for killing. There was a big louse that was frightened hiding on the hem of mattress. With this view, the bedbug laughed at her and said, “Louse! Are you full from sipping the other’s blood secretly? You were maybe happy because of combing every day, and we cannot find such as you.” The louse replied angrily, “You are jealous me because you cannot sip the other’s blood, and do not look down on me. Although they comb their hairs every day, we are still alive.” While quarreling, the girl stopped combing and laid down on the mattress. The louse was so angry with bedbug, so she bit the head of the girl strongly which angry with bedbug, so she bit the head of the girl strongly which made her cannot sleep properly. She wished not to allow the bedbug sip he girl’s blood. With this pan, the girl could not stand. She went to her mother and asked her mother and asked her to have her head shaved. After shaving, the girl collected the hair which is full of louse’s eggs and louses to burn. Then, she came back to sleep. With the view of shaved head, the bedbugs were so happy, they bit the head strongly. The girl had a doubt with this pain, she got up and saw the bedbug on the pillow. Thus, she collected mattress, mat, pillow and mosquito net to dip in boiling water. As a result, the entire bedbugs were killed.

Moral values

- The one who is happy carelessly always confront with the problem.
- Bearing ill will with the other always returns back destruction.
- Good guy is never jealous the other.


An Intelligence Otter

Once upon a time, there was a kind-hearted otter. He always helped the other animals who cannot find food. His action was spread to the ear of the lazy crocodile. So, he changed himself to be isolated crocodile in order to get food from the otter. One day, he went to meet otter. He lied otter hat, “Otter, I cannot find food. I had already tried my best but it didn’t work. Can you give me some? I have many siblings who are in charge. “Otter asked, “Where is your place? How many siblings do you have?” The crocodile answered happily, “I live in a big lake, and I have six siblings. They cannot find food because they are too young.” Otter answered with doubt, “Is what you said true? I can help you, but you need to take me to your place and meet your siblings.” The crocodile answered with scary, “My siblings are not at home.” The otter had known the truth and continued, “I am really sorry for your action. Lying can make you have no value and the other do not want to be your friend. Do you want this?” The crocodile had been aware of the mistake, he said sorry otter and promised not to do like this anymore. He also asked the otter not to tell this story to the other. The otter agreed.

Moral values

- No action no result, the wrong action gives wrong result.
- A person who always lies and cheats the other is considered to be a bad guy.
- Do not trust what the other said immediately without evidence.

The Lizard, the Fish and the Sparrow

There was a lizard that he tried his best to crawl to the lakeside. He met a fish that rose from the water to breath, and then he spoke to the fish, “I want to be your friend.” The fish replied doubtfully, “Eh! Lizard, why do you want to be my friend?” The lizard told the truth, “Because I am really angry with the sparrow for chasing and biting me. I want to make friend with you in an attempt to ask for your help when the sparrow chases to bite me again.” The fish had known the truth and said, “How pity you are! It’s ok. I also want to be your friend because friend is someone who helps each other.” But, after the fish’s talk, the sparrow flew to bite the lizard immediately, and the lizard called for the help from the fish. But, the fish could only raise this head and dive into the water and replied, “Sorry, I really want to help you and do want to be you friend. But, I cannot help you because I cannot live on the ground.”

Moral values

- Before you ask someone for help, you have to help yourself first.
- Look at the long term, do not look at the short-term
- Think before you leap.


The Golden Eggs

A farmer and his wife once had a hen. Every day it gives them a golden egg. Slowly, the farmer and wife became richer and richer. But, because of greed, they had an idea “Every day, this hen gives a golden egg, and when will we become rich? Let’s kill it now and then we can have all the golden eggs.” “That’s a good idea!” said the farmer and picked up his knife and killed the hen, but there were on golden eggs in the hen. From that day on, all the gold eggs which the hen laid became rock. Afterward, both of them had diseases and lost their lives to starvation.

Moral values

- Being greedy in doing something without consideration results in regret.
