The Dog is Lazy to Work in a Rice Field

Once upon a time, a cow asked a dog to work in a rice field. The dog asked the cow doubtful, “How do we work in a rive field?” the cow answered, “First, we plough the land and sow the seeds. Next we need to look after the seedling. When it grows big enough, we uproot to transplant. Then, we harvest and bring it home.” The dog continue, “Ah! I know we can eat unless we bring it home.” The cow said, “No, you’re wrong! We need to rake it to thresh and dry. Then, we husk it to be the rice.” The dog said, “Yi! How long it is!” the cow continued, “We can eat unless we cook.” The dog said, “Oh my god! How difficult and long it is! I don’t do it. I would be better eating something left from the other. You should find the other to work with you.” The cow continued, “If you are lazy, it’s up to you. I will go to work with human.” Since then, the dog always eats only something left from human being. And, the cow agrees to work with human and is led by human to plough ever since.
