The Old Lion and the Insolent Cow

There was an old lion sleeping in front of a cave. He was gentle, calm, not bad tempered and not strong. At that time, there was a cow coming to eat grass nearby. Seeing the lion like this, he laughed a lion and said, “How are you, the old lion? Don’t you have any power to chase the deer anymore?” The lion said, “Er! - You should not be a weak person because it can make someone hurt you, look down on you, and they are not afraid of you.

Pure Waterfall

During dry season, there were three passengers who were sitting under the shade of the tree near the waterfall.
On the top of this waterfall, there is an inscription in stone which was written that, “Please the waterfall be the advantage for all people.” Seeing like this, three of them explained in their own ways respectively. The first passenger explained first, “The waterfall always flows from underground.
It flows so fat with the waterfall that created a river. In other word, we human need to work hard like waterfall that flow continuously so that we can own a lot of property.” The second passenger interrupted, “I think that people need to be honest like waterfall which people depend on.
And, the water which is full of dust, no one drink it.” The third passenger spoke with smile, “Correct, this is a good lesson that we have learned here. People should try to work, to be honest, which is popular to everyone without asking for something back.”

- Working hard gives a good result.
- Being honest is very important in our daily lives.
- Being friendly to the other in order to have a peaceful living.

The Rabbit Sleep under Palm Tree

There was a rabbit that sleeping improperly under the palm tree. Suddenly, one of the palm tree’s leaves had fallen down which made a loud noise as the earthquake. The rabbit got up immediately and started running without looking back. While he was asked, “Rabbit! Why do you run?” The cow replied, “Do not ask me… Hurry up! Run now because the earthquake is coming soon.” The cow because that the rabbit was the wise animal, so he ran after the rabbit. They both had run for a while, they met a hog. Seeing they both run like this, the hog asked, “Why do you run?” The cow answered, “Earthquake is coming soon.” The hog believed and ran after them. Three of them had run for a while, they met an elephant who was picking up the fruits. After listening to their story, the elephant began running after them. They had run for a while, they met Leo. “Why do you run?” the Leo asked. “We run because the rabbit said the earthquake is coming soon,” elephant, hog, and cow answered. The Leo asked the rabbit. “I run because there was an earthquake in my dream. At that time, the palm tree’s leaf fallen down near me. That’s why I assumed that it is real,” the rabbit answered.

- Do not trust what you get from one of your five senses.
- Do not trust whoever is older, have higher social status, or have more knowledgeable than you.

Domestic Sparrows and Wold Sparrows

Long time ago, domestic and wild sparrows always flew to look for foods separately. The leader of domestic sparrows always advised his flock to be quiet while searching for foods and to unite in flying up for life when they were trapped by the hunter. Unlike domestic sparrows, wild sparrows always made a noise during searching for foods. One day, two flocks of sparrows had met each other on a bunch of reed. The wild sparrows roosted below and the domestic sparrows roosted above. Suddenly, head. The wild sparrow said to domestic sparrow with anger, “Why do you break a branch of reed and dropped on me?” The domestic sparrow replied, “We don’t do it. It falls naturally.” They did not think about reason, and the wild sparrow started making a quarrel with the domestic sparrows which made a loud voice in the forest. The hunters heard the voice of sparrows at the reed, they set up a trap. The two flocks of sparrows were trapped but still argued each other. They became the hunters’ foods gradually.

- Don’t fighting each other when we are in a state of emergency.

The Owner and the Donkey

Once upon a time, there was a donkey whose owner was an animal merchant. He gave it a little food but assigned a lot of job to it. So, the donkey prayed to god for releasing from these hard works and meeting a new owner. The god once told the donkey that you will regret. Then, the god made the donkey’s owner sell it to a brick seller. No sooner, the donkey realized that its task was much harder than before, so it prayed to god for the second time to chang a new owner. The god said to the donkey, “This is the last pray for you… I will help you to achieve it.” At that rime the god used his magic to make the brick seller sell the donkey to a leather merchant. The donkey had realized that he was in danger, so he complained regretfully, “I should lose my life to starvation and overwork as I lived with the previous owners. It is better than losing my life to taking the skin off to sell for own benefit as the new owner.”

- When you do something don’t rush to quit. It you quit, you have to try your best to do it first.
- It you encounter problem and dare not face and solve it, you will not success.

The Man and the Watermelon

There was a narration about a man who lost way in a big forest and could not find way to his home. He was very hungry and thirsty and thirsty. Passing from one forest to the other for many days, he lastly reached a big watermelon field. He was very happy and ran as fast as he could into the field. Cobra Killed People

There was a narration about cobra that always had bad ideas, and was a devilish animal. But, on one had pointed out his mistakes until there was, new of a man who was killed by cobra. Everyone hated the cobra and was afraid of it. Then, the people want to look for cobra in order to play him for what he did without reasons reasons back. The cobra had known that people was looking for him because he killed animals and people who drove him mad. He was frightened and crawled into the forest in order to be out of their sights. When he had reached the forest, he met a big fish. He was frightened so that he crawled up on the tree. At that time, there was a big eagle eagle flying toward him. He was horribly scared and crawled as fast as he could, but his speed couldn’t compare with the speed of eagle so that he lastly became the eagle’s food.

Moral values

- If you do bad deeds, you will receive bad results.
- No one wants to be friend with a cruel, stingy, and hateful person.
- Wherever he runs to, the one who have committed illegally always confronted with law.
